After downloading the program and decompresses, run it.
The language selection is automatically loaded in relation of thesystem's language. If you want to load another language you can create an empty file in the same folder as the application so, "en" for English, "it" for Italian and "el" for Greek.
Selection of the file to check.
It can be done in different ways: writing the full path and file name (blue arrow), locating the file (green arrow)
or dragging the file anywhere in the Checksums Calculator window or by right-clicking the file to check.
Selection of hash function.
We set the type of hash function that we want to verify which can be md5, sha1, sha256, sha384 or sha512. Often referred as: md5sum, sha-1, sha-256, sha-384, sha-512.
Create a verification file
If the file is yours and you want to share it or upload it, select the "Create verification file"
You can create a verification file and after calculating the checksum, simply select the box "Create verification file"
Click the "Calculate" button and the program calculates the checksum. The calculation time depends on the file size and computer capacity of your computer
You can copy the checksum to the clipboard
You can paste the original checksum by CTRL+C or by pressing the button (green arrow)
After we give the original checksum it is possible to compare it with the result by pressing the "Compare" button
If it is the same then we will get the message
